Ikeja electric (IE) announced that it will be embarking on replacement of all obsolete 11kv panels at the Ayobo Injection Sub-Station.
The electricity distribution company said that the replacement will take place between Wednesday, August 12 and Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
According to IE, the exercise is aimed at improving power supply to the communities feeding from the Ayobo injection sub-station.
IE, however noted that during the period of maintenance, there will be power interruption to communities feeding in Ayobo and Ipaja.
To this effect, IE assures customers in Ayobo and Ipaja that all arrangements have been put in place to ensure the completion of the rehabilitation within the scheduled timeline.
