EKEDC Notifies Customers Of Power Outage In Parts Of Lagos

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has notified customers of the cause of power outage currently being experienced in parts of Lagos.

According to the DisCo, there is a faulty cable which has led to the shut down of some transformers within EKEDC franchise areas in Surulere, Lagos.

“The present outage you are experiencing on Odutayo Agboyin Feeder in Ikate Zone, Surulere is due to a cable fault which has affected the following transformers: Aderibigbe, Afolabi, Ajoke, Akpogunma, Coast-u feli, Folawuyo, Ijero, Ladele dada, Memudu Aremu, Odelola, Oduduwa, Olaitan, Onibuore, Victoria.

“Our technical team is working to ensure that the fault is cleared as soon as possible. Please, bear with us”, EKEDC announced.

Geeky Nigeria reports that EKEDC Franchise Area covers the Southern Lagos State (Ojo, Festac, Ijora, Mushin (also covers Orile areas), Apapa, Lekki (also covers Ibeju areas), Lagos Island (also covers Ajele areas) & part of Ogun State (Agbara).
